I stumbled upon...

this story several days ago on CNN, and sent along the url to a friend in Canada.

 

I've never ever liked McDonalds, but have to say when the story got to the part about the company publicly stating 'there was no room for hate in their company," along with an open expression of support for diversity, I was ready to start kissing McD's BOD and corporate officers.

One company's intangible - how it is perceived - soared to new heights in my book.

And was that ffffffffffffffft the sound of the boycott's balloon depressurising?

I was surprised

Kudos to McD's! It's about time that a large corporation sticks up for celebrating diversity, instead of trying to ignore or cover an issue up. I don't feel so bad now about all the money I've spent on chicken nuggets and fries :) Keep blogging!
