Senator Barack Obama made his first appearance at the DNC! The surprise showing came after Senator and VP candidate Joe Biden spoke. Both outside and inside Pepsi Center in downtown Denver, everyone exploded with enthusiasm! Here are two reactions.

ACT ONE: Okay, picture the scene.......I'm recovering from a minor medical procedure, still pretty out of it from anesthesia but determinedly scouting out roles on Talent 6.......swaying above my keyboard, my face nearly plastered to the screen, feverishly looking for roles for the mature woman, preferably in New York. A few days after my dad suggested that I write about "why gays are so unhappy," he asked me if I had read about the local GLBTI group in the paper that morning. My first thought was, "here we go again, he just can't resist pushing my buttons." My next thought was, "GLBT - I"? When did it become GLBTI?
