With over 10 years experience in community building, I apply interdisciplinary approaches to technology assessment, management and creation. I hold a Master's degree in Interdisciplinary Computer Science from Mills College, and a Bachelor's in Political Science from the University of California, Davis where I was mentored by many outstanding Chicana feminist scholars. I am currently helping parents and children make good media decisions through my work at www.commonsensemedia.org. In my free time I enjoy jogging, listening to Shakira and Juanes in perpetuity, reading, blogging, and Twittering.
