I make art and crafts out of paper, fabric, and various ephemera. I often use recycled, found, or vintage materials in my work but I also use new materials too. I also write poems, prose, and various fiction hybrids while documenting my everyday life through photography, art-making, crafting, writing, and collecting various odds and ends. I’m interested in the overlap of disciplines, the many layers of construction in one piece of artwork or the intertwined layers of construction in a group collaboration. More generally, I’m interested in discovering and exploring the tension in that space “between”.
