Karina Allrich is a visual artist with over thirty years experience in landscape, semi-abstract and abstract painting. She has participated in numerous juried exhibitions (Copley Society of Boston, Cahoon Museum of Fine Art, Cape Cod Museum of Fine Art), group shows, one-woman gallery shows and a one-woman show at the Cahoon Museum of Fine Art, Cotuit, MA.

Karina is also a writer and creative cook who enjoys developing recipes featuring seasonal ingredients and inspired flavor combinations. She is the author of two cookbooks- Recipes from a Vegetarian Goddess (reprinted as Cooking By the Seasons) and Cooking By Moonlight- as well as a postmodern Jungian book on dream work titled A Witch's Book of Dreams.

After learning she had celiac disease (smack dab in the middle of kitchen testing recipes for her second cookbook) Karina turned her focus to gluten-free cooking and launched the popular food blog Karina's Kitchen- Recipes from a gluten-free goddess, featured in Newsweek magazine as the go-to on-line source for "...creative recipes and cooking tips from an experienced gluten-free chef."
