It happens. An story idea I thought was important and I did the work on is blocked by a Force Divine that is yelping at me at a high rate of speed, “You gotta do this, not that.”
And I say “I can’t, looky I really worked on this…” and the Force Divine says, “Save it for next week, kid. We got business here.” And I say “Yeah, but…” and I am lost before I pronounced the “t” in but. So this is free form and we’ll see where it takes us.

A long time ago I was a Deputy County Clerk for the County of Los Angeles. Part of my job was to issue marriage licenses. I think that was the best part of the job. There were specific tasks I had to perform, questions to ask and I watched as the couple swore or affirmed what they said was the truth.
Sometimes I looked at a couple and thought “For the love of humanity dude, run, do not marry this chick!” or maybe “Hell, they don’t need a license, they are already married in their hearts.”
Rachel Kramer Bussel has an excellent piece
live in the Huffington Post about Carla Bruni, her reported number of
sexual partners(15) and whether counting out loud makes you a big slut (she
says in our culture, it does). Worth a read and thought provoking.

Daughters of the soil (Part I)
Changes in society are most sustainable when they come from within. It's more organic, addresses issues that truly matter and affects changes in a way that the society in question can relate to and absorb.
I have re-written my first post six times with six different topics. Ideas and possibilities are streaming in and out of my head. My keyboard is dying, the mouse is in revolt and I have a new camcorder with a record button that needs to be pressed. What am I writing about again? The small quiet inner voice says “Aw hush up and tell them a story.”
Once upon a time there was a 1952 comedy/mystery television show called Mr. and Mrs. North. They were the crime fighting team of the upper class set.

At first I wasn't gong to do this. I was tired and internally moaning about my work is crap and other people do it better and I need a nap and it is just too much.
This is a clear indication that there are other areas in my life that are bothering me. Shooting and editing video are good things that I need to do more of, not less. One of the good things about National Blog/Vlog Posting Month is the constant re-statement, it doesn't have to be good, perfect or life transformative. You just gotta do it.
