As I crept into bed and used my LightWedge to set the alarm for 6am, I thought 'Do I really need to set an alarm?

BlogHer Boston - I heart you!!

It's been a wonderful whirlwind... and I'm quite sad to say that tomorrow I'll be packing up and leaving. I feel like I've barely gotten to see what's around me in this beautiful part of the country (GAWD the fall leaves are pretty). I've taken very FEW pics... however this has been so fabulous a trip I can't complain!

We decided in the car that it would be fun to make a surprise stop at a Saturn dealership on our way to the conference today.  So, we just pushed our handy-dandy On Star button and got directions to the nearest dealership and swung by.  We stopped at Satun of Berlin, CT to say hi and have an impromptu photo with the staff there!  We posed in front of our super-cool "White Diamond" Saturn Outlook.  Thanks so much for taking time out of your day to meet with us, Saturn of Berlin!

This Saturday and Monday, I'll be organizing the Geek Lab at BlogHer's Reach Out tour in Boston and Washington DC.

So what's the Geek Lab? Here's the official spiel:

We're on the road in our awesome Saturn Outlook.  We are having a fantastic trip so far.  And, it only took me about an hour and a half until I snorted with laughter!

The BlogHer ReachOut tour is gearing up for its Boston and D.C. stops, but hearing the buzz of bloggers getting ready in the Northeast is making me sing the Delta blues. I'm sad that the Reach Out train had to cut the stops planned for Greensboro, Atlanta, Nashville and New Orleans because I was truly looking forward to BlogHer's focus on women in the Deep South and Southeast.

Nervous & excited, excited & nervous.  I'm betting that I'm not the only one who is feeling these feelings today.  In 2 days, I'll be loading up 3 kids, 1 hub, 1 overnight bag, a handful of shiny new business cards and myself in the car and heading to my very first blogging conference! 

Tomorrow morning at this time I will be putting my final items in my bag, kissing the lovies goodbye, and heading off to Boston for one of the BlogHer '08 Reach Out Tours!  I am going on this exciting road trip with 3 of my fellow bloggers from Chester County Moms!  I haven't road tripped with my girlfriends in quite a while, and I am sure that this is going to be a blast!  Even more exciting is that we'll be driving to the event in style ....
