I'm going to Boston!!!! Alright, now that I've screamed a little bit (*shriek*!!), I'll get back to business.

I'm going to Boston! This weekend I am attending the BlogHer Outreach Boston '08 with some wonderful Canadian bloggers. As if that wasn't exciting enough, we are also part of the GM Carpool, a lovely arrangement that provides us with a Saturn Vue Hybrid to drive down with. Excited? Um, yeah!

When I'm not busy trying not to spit on myself to contain my excitement, I've been packing, and ordering travellers insurance and generally freaking out. LOL. Do I have the right clothes, will this dress make me look like Godzilla beautiful... can you see my leg cheese...how much sleep do I really need etc. At the same time I'm making arrangements for my children Thing One and Two, packing tiny Disney themed suitcases and playing hostess to my overnight guests. Because? Of COURSE, everything hits the fan THIS week, when I'm planning to run away with Sugarpants and claim Boston in the name of the Agent. So I'm packing, and freaking out and hosting my grandparents overnight stay and still quite full of roadtrip merriment.

Thankyou GM, for providing us with the means to transport ourselves to a weekend of fun, while reducing our carbon footprint. My great-grandchildren will appreciate it.

Tomorrow, I shop. Until I drop, or my Starbucks runs out. Whichever comes first. I need to look good when cruising the Boston 08 Outreach Tour. WOOT! I'm going to Boston! Me, and my four other Beantown Lovelies.
