A group of three passionate bloggers in Australia started up a new website called Aussie bloggers recently. It kickstarted with a forum to get interest and discussion going and the accompanying blog launched one month ago. The forum now boasts 363 members and it is a very active forum.

It's not just open to Australians though, everyone is welcome and while it's mostly Australian, there are people from all over the world also.

I know when I started blogging nearly four years ago I mainly read blogs that were written in the States and felt somewhat disconnected from Australian bloggers because it was hard to find them. It's not quite so hard now and there's some really good blogs and a fantastic blogging community happening.
